# Soy contract up most ever as wheat rallies on acreage misses

> November soybean futures on the Chicago Board of Trade rose 3.2% to $9.5475 a bushel, a record gain for the contract, after USDA acreage data came in below expectations. Two wheat contracts rose to the exchange daily limit as spring wheat plantings fell to 10.9 million acres, below every analyst estimate. Corn plantings of 90.9 million acres exceeded forecasts.
