# India’s soymeal exports to hit 3-year high as soybean output jumps – Customs Today Newspaper

> India's soymeal exports for 2016/17 are expected to rise to more than 2 million tonnes, up from 261,501 tonnes a year earlier, as a rebound in soybean output cut local prices. Indian soymeal prices fell 25% in four months to $365 per tonne on a free-on-board basis, making exports competitive again.
