# EM ASIA FX-Asian currencies firmer as Trump policy worries dent dollar

> Most Asian currencies rose on Tuesday against a weaker dollar after Trump's temporary ban on entry of refugees and citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries stirred worries about his policy priorities. The Thai baht touched its highest since Nov. 10 at about 35.16 per dollar, helped by month-end exporter dollar-selling. Onshore trading in the Chinese yuan and Taiwan dollar was closed for Lunar New Year.
