# Bank of Canada begins publishing new foreign exchange rate data - Bank of Canada

> The Bank of Canada started publishing a new daily foreign exchange rate series for 26 currencies, with the old series running in parallel until 28 April 2017. From 1 May 2017 only the new 26-currency rates will be published and other existing rates will be discontinued.
