# Govt exempts quantity limit on export of organic- wheat, non-basmati r

> The Indian government exempted organic wheat, non-Basmati rice, edible oils and sugar from export quantity limits with immediate effect, according to a DGFT notification reported on 20 April 2017. The organic pulses and lentils ceiling rose to 50,000 MT a year.
