# In Ukrainian ports continues to become cheaper grain transshipment

> Surplus grain transshipment capacity at Ukrainian ports, including new COFCO, Bunge and Risoil terminals, has pushed handling charges down to an average of about $12/t from $18-22/t 5-10 years ago. Analysts expect a second phase of reductions of $1-2/t, and Russian port costs have also fallen to $16-17/t.
