# Europe, Central Asia ready to address  transboundary animal diseases

> More than 130 experts from about 40 countries met in Budapest for the 40th session of the European Commission on Agriculture, focused on how climate change affects transboundary animal diseases. The Commission reviewed outbreaks of the past decade, including avian influenza, bluetongue and African swine fever, and adopted its final report unanimously.
