# Ajinomoto to subcontract manufacture of feed-use amino acids

> Ajinomoto said on Aug. 3 that it reached an agreement with Meihua Holdings, a major Chinese amino acid maker, to subcontract manufacture of feed-use lysine and threonine. Ajinomoto Animal Nutrition Group will sell both products under the Ajinomoto brand globally from fiscal 2018. Meihua is the company's second feed-amino-acid manufacturing subcontractor.
