# June Merchandise Trade Data

> Statistics Canada's June merchandise trade data showed a C$3.6 billion monthly trade deficit, the fifth consecutive deficit. Total exports fell 4.3% in June, while wheat export values hit a 16-month high and canola export values were the second-lowest in eight months.
