# Temporary safeguard measure on DAP, MAP fertilisers launched

> Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade applied a temporary safeguard duty of about 1.9 million VND ($83.5) per tonne on certain DAP and MAP imports from August 19. The measure runs up to 200 days, ending by March 2018 or when official safeguards replace it.
