> Bangladesh approved purchases of 100,000 tonnes of parboiled rice from India at $455 a tonne and 100,000 tonnes of white rice from Myanmar at $442 a tonne. It also plans 150,000 tonnes from Thailand at $465 and is targeting 1.5 million tonnes of imports by June after floods hit its crop.
