# U.S. Dollar Slides Against Emerging Markets on Low Yields - WSJ

> The U.S. dollar fell against emerging-market currencies as higher government bond yields in some of those countries made their currencies more attractive. The WSJ Dollar Index dropped 0.3% to 87.67, its largest decline since Oct. 10. The dollar lost 2% against the Brazilian real, 1.5% against the Turkish lira and 1% against the Mexican peso.
