> Minnesota bank analyst Kent Thiesse reviews 2017 Upper Midwest crop production. Corn and soybean yields were above average in parts of the region for a third straight year, though weather was uneven in the Dakotas, Nebraska and parts of Minnesota. Planting ran slightly late but was largely offset by a longer growing season.
