# Export duty suspension for CPO extended to end-April | The Star

> Malaysia's export duty suspension on crude palm oil has been extended to April 30, 2018, from the original April 7 end date. The duty may be lifted earlier if domestic CPO stocks fall below 1.6 million tonnes. The suspension was introduced in January to reduce high stockpiles and support prices.
