# Trade war, oil may keep rupee near record low

> A Reuters poll of 45 strategists found the Indian rupee is expected to weaken to 68.90 per dollar by June 2019, near its record low of 69.09 set the prior week. Pressure comes from global trade tensions, emerging-market sell-offs and higher oil import costs.
