# Soymeal Market Remains Calm in China Despite Tariffs

> Chinese soymeal and soyoil futures on the Dalian Commodity Exchange have been relatively calm since China began a 25% punitive tariff on U.S. soybeans on July 6. The Dalian soymeal contract fell about $9.68 a ton in one week to $461.90, and processors did not raise crush volumes.
