# Ukraine grain juggernaut continues to rise in the East - Grain Central

> Ukrainian Grain Association president Nikolay Gorbachov said Ukraine's grain output has doubled since 2000 to 85 million tons and could double again. He noted Ukraine produces about 25 million tons of wheat yearly, exporting roughly 17.5 million tons. Ukraine's wheat yields are far below France and Great Britain.
