> USDA's quarterly stocks report showed US soybean stocks on September 1 at 438 million bushels, above expectations. Corn stocks were 2.140 billion bushels and all-wheat stocks 2.379 billion, both above trade estimates. Slower fourth-quarter demand, partly due to China trade tensions, drove the surplus, and the 2017 soybean and corn crops were revised.
