# COCERAL revises E.U. crop forecast downward | 2018-09-19  | World Grain

> COCERAL cut its third 2018 forecast for the EU grain and oilseeds crop to 283.5 million tonnes, down from 299.1 million in June and below last year's 300.2 million. Wheat was cut to 129.9 million tonnes, barley to 57.4 million, corn to 58.9 million, and rapeseed to 19.4 million, with losses concentrated in Germany, France, the UK and Scandinavia.
