# The Egyptian tender has significantly supported the price of wheat

> Egypt's GASC tender bought Romanian, Russian and US wheat, with Russian wheat at about $250/t C&F and US SRW at about $254/t C&F. Romanian wheat was bought at roughly $254/t C&F, and Paris milling wheat rose 1.5 euros per tonne after the result. Traders also noted French wheat's return to China and upcoming tenders in Tunisia and Morocco.
