ASF was also detected in pork products seized at Australian airports, and a foot-and-mouth outbreak occurred in South Africa's FMD-free zone.

## Why it matters

Continued ASF spread in China signals sustained pork supply losses and stronger import and feed demand over time, supporting feed-grain and protein prices.
