# Renewable Fuel Standards Set for 2019

> EPA published the final Renewable Fuel Standard volumes for 2019 on November 30, 2018, raising requirements for cellulosic biofuel, advanced biofuel and total renewable fuel. The volumes remain well below the statutory levels Congress set in the 2007 EISA law, which expected 8.5 billion gallons of cellulosic ethanol.
