# Sun sets on Eyre Peninsula rail as Viterra moves to road - Grain Central

> Viterra has announced it will not renew its rail haulage agreement with Genesee & Wyoming Australia on the Eyre Peninsula. From 1 June, all grain on the peninsula will move by road only. The change is expected to add up to 50 extra truck movements per day in Port Lincoln.
