# WASDE Lowers Milk Production Forecast; Raises All Milk Price Forecast • Northwest Iowa Dairy Outlook • Iowa State University Extension and Outreach

> The USDA's March 8 WASDE lowered its 2019 milk production forecast because of smaller expected dairy cow numbers. It raised the all-milk price forecast to $17.00 to $17.60 per cwt and raised the Class III and IV price forecasts. Beef production was also cut, and cattle price forecasts were raised.
