# Ukraine and Russia increase the production of sunflower oil

> Ukraine produced 2.958 million tonnes of crude sunflower oil in September-February 2018/19, up 10.7%, and exported a record 632 thousand tonnes of sunflower oil in March, up 12% year on year. Russian vegetable oil output is forecast to rise 9.4% in 2018/19, with exports up 10.6%.
