# Feed weekly outlook: Prices fall with rain - AgCanada

> Feed grain prices in Lethbridge fell about $10 per tonne after rain fell on parts of the Prairies, with barley near $285-$290 and wheat near $265 per tonne. New-crop barley and wheat were quoted around $235-$240 and $230-$235 per tonne. Feedlots are well covered for new crop, and about 12,800 tonnes of US feed corn entered the Canadian pipeline in one week.

## Why it matters

Rain easing Prairie drought weakens the feed grain price premium, and well-covered feedlots will bid less for grain until new crop is clearer, pressuring barley and wheat prices.
