# MARS cuts EU grain yields especially for corn market

> The EU's MARS crop monitoring service cut its cereal yield forecasts for the period through 10 September, with the all-cereal average about 1% lower than last month. Corn yields were cut sharply, mainly in Germany and France, while wheat was forecast 1.9% above the five-year average. Spain was hit hard by dryness, and Poland also did worse.
