# 'Act of God' clause utilised by oats growers to get out of Uncle Tobys contracts | The Land | NSW

> Croker Grain, which supplies about 80 per cent of Uncle Tobys' oats, is letting growers in NSW exit contracts under an 'Act of God' clause when crops are judged not worth harvesting. Last year the company received about 10,000t against 18,000t contracted, and this year it has 19,000t contracted with about 1,000t already lost to poor crop conditions.
