# Governor Parson strongly supports Mississippi River dredging

> Missouri Governor Michael Parson wrote to federal officials supporting lower Mississippi River dredging to deepen the channel for larger Panamax loads. The Missouri Soybean Association and the United Soybean Board estimate deeper channels could add $461 million a year in farm revenue, up to 13 cents per bushel of soybeans.
