# Sunflower prices are rising in support of the vegetable oil markets

> Ukrainian sunflower seed prices rose after seasonal lows as vegetable oil prices climbed. Malaysian palm oil futures gained 8.3% over two weeks, and EU sunflower oil reached $747.5/t FOB, a six-month high. Ukraine's sunflower harvest was 98.2% complete at 14.04 million tonnes.
