# Palm and soyabean biodiesel to rise in Asia and Americas

> UFOP expects biodiesel production from soybean and palm oils to rise in North and South America and Southeast Asia. The feedstock mix in 2019 was virtually unchanged from 2017, at 35% palm oil and 26% soybean oil. Rapeseed oil became much more expensive than palm and soybean oil, widening the price gap.
