# September biodiesel production down 13 percent - McKeany-Flavell

> U.S. biodiesel manufacturers produced 142 million gallons in September, down 9 percent from August and 13 percent year over year, the fourth straight month of annual declines. Cumulative 2019 output reached 1.32 billion gallons, down 3 percent from a year earlier. Soybean oil feedstock use fell 13 percent year over year to 599 million pounds.
