# Viewpoint: Asian biodiesel supplies to tighten

> Asian biodiesel supplies are expected to become more domestically focused in 2020 as Indonesia moves to B30 and Malaysia phases in B20 from B10. Indonesia's domestic biodiesel use is set to rise to about 8.47 million tonnes a year from 6.58 million, leaving little for exports. Europe has also imposed anti-subsidy duties on Indonesian biodiesel.
