# Malaysian palm oil price falls 10%, biggest fall in nearly 12 years | The Star

> Malaysian palm oil futures fell as much as 10% on Tuesday, their largest drop in over a decade, to their lowest since mid-November. The decline followed India's curbs on refined palm oil imports and fears that the coronavirus outbreak in China will weaken demand. Malaysian palm oil exports for early January were also expected to fall.
