> USDA's weekly report showed total grain inspections for export of 2 million mt for the week ending January 23, down 10% week on week and 15% year on year. Corn inspections jumped 69% to their highest since mid-December, mainly on shipments to Latin America, while wheat inspections fell 57%. Ocean freight rates to Japan continued to slide from last year's September peak.
