# EUR/USD: Balance of risks shifting in favour of stronger euro – MUFG — Octa

> MUFG Bank noted that EUR/USD broke above 1.1000 for the first time since late March and is on course for a fifth straight day of gains. It said the advance is built on firmer foundations and that the pair could test the top of its 1.0800 to 1.1200 range. MUFG expects the ECB to expand its PEPP by 500 billion euros.
