# Grain export 2019/20: staples trade crossed 51 mln t — Latifundist.com

> Ukraine's grain exports for 2019/20 reached 51.36 million tonnes as of May 6, up 20% year on year. The government and traders agreed a wheat export cap of 20.2 million tonnes through June 30, and the decision on a corn limit was postponed. The European Commission also raised its import duty on maize, sorghum and rye to EUR 10.40 per tonne.
