# ECB ramps up its pandemic bond buying to 1.35 trillion euros

> The ECB raised its Pandemic Emergency Purchase Programme by 600 billion euros to 1.35 trillion euros and extended it to June 2021 or until the crisis is judged over. Interest rates were left unchanged. The ECB also published sharply weaker economic projections than in March.
