# Marine ingredient market robust, says IFFO – World Fishing

> The Marine Ingredients Organisation (IFFO) reports that global marine ingredient production in July 2020 stayed well above the 2011-2019 average for the month. Year-on-year raw material supply was more than 40% higher, while cumulative fishmeal output was down only 2% and fish oil down 4%. Chinese fishmeal demand improved seasonally and prices rose, though they remain well below last year's levels.
