# Evonik to concentrate MetAMINO® production at its three, world-scale, best-in-class hubs - Evonik Industries

> Evonik plans to consolidate its DL-methionine (MetAMINO) production into three world-scale hubs in the Americas, Europe and Asia. It will close its smallest plant, a 65,000 tons-per-year facility in Wesseling, Germany, by the end of Q1 2021. The company will also invest about €25 million in upgrading methionine intermediates at Wesseling.
