# Sunflower prices fell due to decreasing prices for vegetable oil

> Ukrainian sunflower seed purchase prices fell by 100-200 UAH/t to 19,000-19,500 UAH/t after sunflower oil dropped to $1,120-1,150/t FOB. Palm oil futures in Malaysia and soybean oil futures in Chicago also declined, with soybean oil hitting its largest one-day fall in two months.
