> The U.S. Grains Council's weekly market perspectives report says U.S. DDGS prices rose this week as continued cold in the Midwest and high natural gas prices curtailed production. The DDGS-to-corn price ratio fell from the prior week to 118 percent, still above its three-year average. Barge CIF NOLA values were up $2/MT for March but down $4-5/MT for April/May.

## Why it matters

Curtailed ethanol output tightens DDGS supply, which supports feed prices and makes DDGS relatively pricier against corn and soymeal. Buyers face firmer DDGS offers while customers wait to see how plant cutbacks play out.
