# PWNI hits fresh new highs; US UAN values rise sharply as producers return to market post-cold snap

> The Profercy World Nitrogen Index reached its highest level in about seven years as nitrogen products rose across the board. US UAN values rose sharply after CF Industries returned to the market with much higher offers, following production curtailments caused by the cold snap and higher gas prices. Ammonia, amsul and US urea barge prices also climbed.
