# Vietnam does not lack DAP fertilizer

> The Vietnam Fertilizer Association said local DAP output of about 810,000 tonnes a year covers roughly 80% of national demand, rebutting rumours of a shortage. Imported DAP prices have risen to VND15-16 million a tonne from about VND9-10 million for local product.
