# Farm Lending Remains Strong in 2020- American Bankers Association Report

> The American Bankers Association reported that farm banks' agricultural lending totaled $98.6 billion in 2020, down 1.8% from 2019. Banks held more than $174 billion in farm loans outstanding, about half of total farm credit. Farm bank employment rose 2.4% in 2020.
