# U.S. Farmers Produced More Soybeans, Hold More Stocks, USDA Reports

> USDA's September Quarterly Grain Stocks report put soybean stocks at 256 million bushels against a trade estimate of 174 million. Corn stocks were 1.23 billion bushels against 1.15 billion expected, and wheat stocks were 1.78 billion bushels against 1.85 billion expected. Soybean futures settled about 27 cents lower and December wheat closed 15.75 cents higher.
