# Diverted farm machinery begins journey back to WA farmers | Farm Weekly | WA

> Truck convoys are shuttling 53 combine harvesters, 44 tractors and other farm equipment diverted from Fremantle back to WA dealers. The first units were expected to start arriving the weekend before publication, with overall delays expected to be under three weeks. Dealers say the operation is going smoothly despite the logistics involved.

## Why it matters

The recovery of diverted machinery reduces the risk of a longer harvest delay in WA. The story has little direct effect on global grain or feed prices.
