# Coceral sees smaller EU wheat crop in 2022 | World Grain

> Coceral's first forecast for the 2022 EU-27+UK grain crop puts wheat output at 139.8 million tonnes, down more than 3 million tonnes from 2021 on a return to average yields in the Balkans. It sees barley nearly flat at 59 million tonnes, corn unchanged at 66.4 million tonnes, and rapeseed recovering to 20 million tonnes.
