> India's government told parliament that wheat exports are a free category requiring no licence, and that exports reached 70.35 lakh tonnes worth USD 2,035 million in 2021-22 through March 21, versus 21.55 lakh tonnes in 2020-21. The ministry said it cannot yet quantify the surplus available for exports in the coming Rabi season.
