# UFOP reports declining use of oilseed meal in EU compound feeds

> UFOP reports that EU compound feed use of soybean meal and rapeseed meal fell about 11% from 2017/18 to 2021/22, to 4.11M tonnes. Soybean meal processing dropped about 9% and rapeseed meal use also fell about 9%. Demand for GM-free rapeseed meal is growing with non-GM labelling.
